The Agency Express Soapbox Challenge 2016
After the successful launch of the Agency Express Soapbox Challenge in 2015, we are pleased to announce that on 25th June at Penn House Estate, Buckinghamshire the challenge is returning for a second year of fast paced fun, and it’s all in aid of Agents Giving.
Peter Knight, Chairman of Agents Giving shared his thoughts on the event: The Soap Box Challenge was such a success last year, so much effort from all who took part, yet again it is going to be a really exciting event. We are delighted that Agency Express has chosen to support us again. Agents Giving work with the industry to encourage fundraising and raise money for great causes all across the UK. This event will bring people together to have fun, get involved in a bit of competition, and most importantly, raise money”.
So what is Soapbox Racing?
Soap Box Racing an amateur driver’s race where teams come with one goal, to build and design the ultimate gravity powered Soapbox kart. Then fueled solely by guts and gravity, driver’s race against the clock in a mile long downhill race.
Our Challenge to you is
- Get a team and a driver
- Choose your team name – we like the funny ones!
- Build and design your own Soapbox kart
- Raise some cash or get sponsored
- Arrive on the day raring to go
- Navigate your gravity fueled kart down the mile long hill
- Have extreme amounts of fun in aid of a good cause
But of course it wouldn’t be a race without winners. Alongside the infamous ‘Wooden Spoon’ for last place, there’s an award for the team with the ‘Best Dressed’ kart and first, second and third place winners can choose from cash prizes, or months of free estate agency board services from Agency Express.
Joining the race is easy, no racing experience required. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org for an entrant’s information pack or follow the link on this page and complete the online entry form.
Here’s just a little taster from last year.
