Board Services Have Resumed

We are pleased to confirm our return to service as of Monday 11th May onwards.

With a wider understanding now of the relevant health risks, we will be implementing the following guidelines for our operators:

Social distancing measures observed at all times
Hand sanitisers to be carried by all operators and used regularly
No knocking on vendors doors/interacting with vendors unless absolutely necessary
No visiting of branches
Face coverings/masks to be worn where possible
One person per van, unless those people live in the same household

Please ensure your customers are aware that we will be enforcing strict social distancing to protect all involved. We politely request they do not approach our operators, and boards are left in easily accessible locations for collection when required.

Thank you to all our clients for their continued patience during this time.

The Soapbox Challenge results are in

On the 25th June at Penn House Estate in Amersham, estate agents and suppliers to the industry joined us in our annual fast paced charity fundraiser the Agency Express Soapbox Challenge.

The event is an amateur driver’s race where teams come with one goal, to build and design the ultimate gravity powered Soapbox kart. Then fuelled solely by guts and gravity drivers race against the clock on a mile long downhill track.

However it wouldn’t be a race without winners, alongside the infamous ‘Wooden Spoon’ for last place there was a trophy for the team with the ‘Best Dressed Kart’ and cash prizes for first, second and third place winners.

Taking the start line with their hand built karts were teams from Gilson BaileyCB Slade and Clive Emson Auctioneers and Revive. After three nail biting runs down the mile long track the winners were announced.

1st place went to Gilson Bailey estate agents from Norwich, completing the mile in 2:36 winning £500

2nd place went to team CB Slade estate agentsfrom Cirencester, completing the mile in 2:50 winning £250

3rd place went to team Clive Emson Auctioneers from Chelmsford, completing the mile in 2:53 winning £100

Gilson Bailey also took home the ‘Best Dressed Kart’ award for their spectacular Jeep themed kart which unfortunately by the end of the day did see a bit of wear and tear.  The ‘Wooden Spoon’ award was presented to Revive who recorded the slowest time, completing the course in just under 4 minutes.

Thanks to the teams and their fundraising efforts £1600 was raised on the day which will be split between Macmillan Cancer Support and Agents Giving.

Yvonne Martin from Agents Giving commented: The Soapbox Challenge was a fantastic event with a real family atmosphere, on the day I had been so amazed by the enthusiasm of everyone involved, well done to the winner and all that took part for this fundraising challenge.

Pictures from the day can be found on the Agency Express Facebook page:
