Agents Giving Ambassadors

We are delighted to announce that Agency Express is now a proud Ambassador for Agents Giving. The industry based charity, backed by ‘Location Location Location’ presenter Phil Spencer unites estate agencies, letting agencies, suppliers to the industry and their customers to work together to battle the causes of homelessness and suffering within local communities UK wide.

Agents Giving pledges to raise and donate money to wide range charitable causes both large and small. Their goal is to help combat the causes of homelessness and to help support smaller charities and much needed activities and facilities throughout local communities. This is achieved via their numerous charitable events such as golf days, football tournaments, cycling challenges and by supporting companies like us who have joined forces to raise awareness and funds for local causes.

This year over £50,000 has already been donated to national and local charities some of which include:

  • CentrePoint Provides a safe place to live for more than 1,000 young people aged between 16 and 25.
  • Doncaster Housing for Young People: Offers accommodation and appropriate support services to homeless or vulnerably housed young people aged between 16 and 25.
  • Winter Comfort Cambridge: Offers support to men and women who are homeless or vulnerably housed by offering them a vital welfare service and opportunities for learning and development
  • Longridge: A charity that helps young people from all walks of life develop skills in leadership, self-discipline, confidence and respect through watersports and land based activities.
  • Elizabeth House: A greatly needed day facility for the elderly residents of Cookham and surrounding areas.

Each year at Agency Express we do our utmost to contribute and raise funds for a number of charities both national and local, raising £2610 in 2013. By joining forces Agents Giving it will enable our efforts to be distributed amongst those who need it most.
